I'm at the office today, reading the sources and trying to get back into the swing of things. I have a couple of busy weeks ahead of me, including workshops, invited talks, meetings with other faculty/friends, and a conference paper that still needs to be re-written, but I think I’ll be ok. I decided to get some groundwork done today; class preps are usually a bit of a nonbrainer, although one that requires time, and as such they get pushed aside by more “urgent” tasks far too often. I still have some minor things to adjust, but at least I feel ready.
