I’m in one of those life periods when making it from the start of the day to the end still standing is an accomplishment. But I have a deadline approaching, which means I REALLY need to focus right now. But that’s a hard habit to get into, and I still have to remind myself constantly. Every day I wake up and find any excuse I can not to work on my project(s), because it feels like none of them is getting anywhere. I know that my end goal should be swimming, but I’m not really sure where I should swim to. The ocean seems much larger than it did, and I get tired. Recently I’ve been secretly hoping that someone would save me, or at least point me in the direction of the nearest shore. But, I also know that’s not how the me-someone relationship works. I’m on my own. If I drown, I drown. * So yes, you guessed it, this is one of my semi-regular “Hey Look, I’m Going To Start Coding And Writing More Again (I Promise)” Posts. That feels like the minimum requirement: let people know that I’m here. It also helps me to feel like I’m doing OK, and that I’ll figure it out soon. There’s no need to panic.
