They say the first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem. When it comes to people, I like to think that the first step is admitting that you’re not okay. Maybe I am being too picky. Maybe I don't want to be close to anyone. Maybe I’ll just be the type who can’t feel love all the way or something. I cant tell what is wrong, but what is wrong is that this somehow stopped feeling right. “At the root of every large struggle in life is the need to be honest about something that we do not feel we can be honest about. We lie to ourselves or other people because the truth might require action on our part, and action requires courage. We say we ‘don’t know’ what is wrong, when we do know what is wrong, we just wish we didn’t.” This is how it feels to be a heartbreaker. | ||
