I'd like to devote more of my classes to the elections and its aftermath, but I won't lie, at this moment it feels bizarre and pointless. I love to help students understand what's going on, don't get me wrong, and I love teaching and analyzing those things. But the idea of a class devoted to uncertainty, nothing more than: "we are wholly fucked, what the fuck do we do, oh my god we have to figure this out", seems like a waste of time.
