4 long meetings on constitution projects and a guest lecture in J's comparative sociology class done plus a lot of learning in between it all.
I got to spend some time on the weekend w/ a friend (another new faculty in econ) & that was very nice. I also spent a good amount of time with A' family just drinking tea & chatting away.
Looking forward to another productive day tomorrow. My department chair is observing my world politics class this Thursday, so fingers crossed that strawberries contain magical energy-giving properties.
The semester is going by too fast, my schedule is too packed, & I’m always sleepy.
I very much want to allow my mind to wander. I let it wander for a bit as I read about post-Soviet democratization; however, I have to rush to get ready for class.
There is so much, I’d like to have time for it all. Such is this life.
