No journal entry yesterday, busy being thankful with loved ones. I took A. to Biltmore Estate for his birthday, wandered around all day and topped it off with wine tasting in Antler Village. I’m pretty sure we were meant for grandeur, as we fit right within its expansive halls and stylishly decorated rooms, haha!
Grateful for new colleagues who fed me & A. on Thanksgiving. Also grateful for mentors, colleagues, and friends who fed me all these years :) Nothing like an iffy American holiday to remind me of how lucky I've been in terms of running into the right sort of people.
And as for today...I received my care package from parents (lots of love & new work clothes, yay!), we’ve just had some Chinese pancakes, now A's working on his papers and I’m preparing my lectures for next week while listening to the Liebesträume. All’s right in the world...
