25 Aralık 2017, Pazartesi saat: 05:57 Christmas Eve eve with S. and Swedish Christmas Eve with H.’s family today were so great. We slothed out with S. all day yesterday and watched movies as A. cooked for us, and after she left, A. and I went to H.’s house for Julmaten, which included meatballs with lingonberry, knäckebröd, different kinds of herring, an array of cheeses, sliced beet root, and lots of other things which I didn’t eat. But the most important thing was fika & then julsnaps, i.e. the liquor. For so long, I haven’t been able to be disconnected from all the things that must be done or are screaming for me to pay some type of attention to them…so it has been nice to breathe for a day & night. Wheee. Some tipsy paper-writing might happen later. larissa
