Thanks to their responses to my survey (read: various explanations/justifications as to why they didn't get a good grade) I have also discovered that I am a dinosaur: I use “words” to communicate “information” that I expect my students to pay attention to and want them to understand the material with just "pictures" and "charts" in the accompanying PowerPoint.
I don’t get that much instant gratification in life. You can probably tell.
