Our spring break has just been extended for another week. When we do go back, it will be online-only instruction until April, and then they'll decide. Multiple cases of COVID-19 appeared in the region, so A's university decided to suspend in-person classes until March 30th. So we’ll be together for a bit more (yay!) and I may be having a lot of unexpected free time on my hands. Looks like I can keep working on updating all of my papers, and possibly finishing some of them!
… but on a more serious note, I rely on the human interaction that I get from teaching to keep me on track, and at least a little bit responsible. And if I am being brutally honest, I have a tendency to fall off the wagon in a major way whenever I have “nothing to do” all day, because if I don’t have to drive, or interact with anyone… the urge just gets stronger and stronger until I break. So here’s hoping I keep a hold of myself.
